Donald Morris, a Marine veteran who served in Vietnam, needed a “stressor” medal or combat decoration to help support his VA claim. Research determined that the Combat Action Ribbon (CAR) met that requirement and that he was eligible for the award. Donald was awarded the CAR and processed his claim successfully through his Veteran Service Officer. He was also awarded several other decorations that were missing from his discharge document.
